Slack's last standalone annual revenue was $902.6 million for the fiscal year ended January 31, 2021, with over 156,000 paid customers. Since Salesforce closed its $27.7 billion acquisition of Slack in July 2021, it no longer reports Slack revenue on its own: Slack sits in a combined revenue line that reached $8.88 billion in Salesforce's fiscal year 2026.
This page lists the latest official figure for each Slack statistic, with its source and date. Many "Slack statistics 2025" pages online repeat third-party estimates; when Slack or Salesforce has not published a number, we say so instead of guessing.

Slack revenue
Does Salesforce still report Slack revenue?
No. Since the acquisition closed in July 2021, Salesforce reports Slack inside a broader subscription line. In fiscal year 2026 (ended January 31, 2026), that line was renamed "Agentforce 360 Platform, Slack and Other". It also includes the Agentforce platform and, from November 2025, part of Informatica's revenue, so it is not Slack revenue.

These are the figures Slack reported as a public company. Slack's fiscal year ends on January 31, so "fiscal 2021" covers February 2020 to January 2021.

How many daily active users does Slack have?
The last official count is more than 12 million daily active users in September 2019, up about 37% year over year. Slack counts a daily active user as someone who created or consumed content in Slack within 24 hours, on a free or paid plan. Slack has not published a newer daily or monthly active user figure since, so recent "Slack DAU 2024" numbers are third-party estimates.

How many paid customers does Slack have?
At its last report as a public company, Slack had over 156,000 paid customers (January 31, 2021), up 42% year over year, including 1,183 paying more than $100,000 a year. Those large customers made up about 49% of Slack's fiscal 2021 revenue.

77 of the Fortune 100 companies use Slack Connect, the Slack feature for working with other companies, according to Slack in April 2022.

How do people use Slack every day?
According to Slack:
- 12 million users spend more than 90 minutes a day actively working in Slack.
- 5 billion actions (messages, comments, custom apps…) are completed every week on average.
- More than 1 billion of those weekly actions happen on a mobile device.

Slack employees
Slack had 2,545 full-time employees on January 31, 2021, according to its last annual report. Since the acquisition, Salesforce does not publish a separate Slack headcount.
